Oh hello, it’s 2021! Last week, we’ve taken a look back at the 30 most viral gowns of 2020, and also oohed and aahed over some of the most popular bridal collections featured on Wedding Inspirasi. As is the tradition here at WIHQ, we like to start off the year with a list of some of the biggest trends in bridal for the new year. Click on an image to see more from the collection. You might also want to take a look at 2020’s biggest trends.
Hip to be Square
Minimalist wedding dresses go into even more reductive territory with the strikingly simple square neckline. We can safely say that this is one trend that will be everywhere in 2021. Some designers are also pairing this trendy neckline with intricately embellished silhouettes.  The results are gowns that feel very “now”. For fans of strapless styles, the straight across neckline is also getting its moment in the sun this year.
Simple fitted long sleeves
Large, voluminous sleeves, which have been trending for the past 2 years, will still be popular in 2021, but the minimalist, fitted long sleeves will also be making a big impact this year.
One-Shoulder Sleeve/Asymmetric Neckline
The one-shoulder look is back after, and it's more glamorous than ever!
Puff Sleeves
Big, billowy sleeves (whether detached or bishop sleeves), are stay for 2021. The year will also see more fairytale-ready sleeves -- think short puff sleeves and gigot sleeves.
Swag Sleeves
These "sleeves" are actually drapey straps that elegantly frame the bodice to create a romantic, off-the shoulder frame.
